At Münchener Steet in Olching a housing unit with kindergarden is getting developed. Grant-aided through the communal grants for housing (Komm WFP) of the Bavarian Government, 31 apartments and a 7 children Kita groups in timber hybrid construction is emerging. 

The draft is composed of 2 new buildings; together they form an L. They are attached to the street and build towards the interior of the plot a protected courtyard. 

 The buildings set back, on the westside at the attic level, as the development plan indicates, and on the other side, the southside, at the first floor towards the courtyard. A generous terrace for the kindergarden is created, that, at the same time, organizes the open spaces between the floors.

The central idea is based on the ground plan layout. Either the housing units, as the group units in the exterior, offer through the technique of setting back some floors, protected retreat spaces . 

 The access to the apartments are created through a pergola, which provides through a wide front area an open and communicative atmosphere. The exterior walls are planed as not supporting timber pillars walls. Due to the required short construction period they are build in as prefabricated components. The facade of the loggia and of the courtyard offer different colored timber panels. In contrast, the Kindergarten has a colored ground-cover-formwork.
